Just Adorable

This is the layout from Tuesday night class 24th May at Fantasia. I have used Kaiser Craft English Rose Collection, Green Tara Flowers, acetate, beads, Tim Holtz Tattered  Flowers, bird cage and scroll dies, chipboard gates and birds, bling on photos and bird cage, spellbinders paisley die and leaves printed on vellum. I have wrapped vine ribbon around the gates and added a couple of rose buds and a small clock to finish. The photos I have used are of our grand daughter Sienna and thought they went so well with this paper series.

Flower Stems

Well hello there, sorry been awhile but busy packing for the move back to Adelaide for at least a week then it's off to West Wyalong NSW for approx. 12 weeks as this is where Roger is going to be working then who know's where hopefully back to Sydney so i can resume my teaching at Fantasia and maybe party with girls. I'm starting to feel like a travelling wilbury but meeting some great ladies on the way. So inbetween packing and teaching I found time to make some of my own flower stems have posted for you all to see. The first one is named Kristen which I made for her 35 birthday a week ago. One of the ladies that attend my classes at Fantasia asked if I would make her a set of stems and this is the end result and I have named them Nikky after her. I am still playing around with the whole blog but slowly getting the nak with some extra help from Ruthie thanks sweetness.

Happy scrappin to all and thanks for dropping by.

Luv Ruth
P/S with everything going on Ruth's Shabby Room might be alittle behind in up dates but will try my best. Please feel free to leave comments i luv to hear what you have to say.

Graphic 45 Workshop 9th May 2011

Hi there, sorry I haven't uploaded for a while still trying to get the hang of the whole blog thing and I have been quite busy with classes and in the middle of packing up the rental we are in at the moment due to travelling around with my hubby for his work. Also I went to a workshop in Penrith NSW on Monday night the 9th May, which I was very excited, as I haven't done a workshop for a very long time. I went with a few of the girls from Fantasia Taren Point NSW, the workshop was with the ladies from Graphic 45 Charee, Dianna and Aimee WOW I had a great time however I didn’t get the project finished which is not unusual for me as I always take to much time pondering over how I would like the finished project to look. Now I have to make time to get it finished and then I will post it for you all to check it out. Well that's it for now as I am trying to get things rolling to up load and if lucky I will be making a few changes as well. Please be patient with me while I try to learn more about this whole blogging thing.

Thank you for dropping in and catch you soon.
Luv to all, Ruth

Precious Girl

When I received a new set of photos from our daughter In-Law of our first grandchild Sienna taken professionally last year I just had to create a layout which I am teaching in a class at Fantasia Taren Point NSW.

I have used one of the new Kaiser Range of papers and at the
bottom of page I have handmade the flowers out of ribbon and fabric.
